Ooops, Bible.
Religion in games is often a strange and fascinating creature, not the least of which because my nominal Christian phase ended when I was 10. Even then I was at church for comraderie, music, and food. I was sent to Bible Weeks for cheap babysitting and arts and crafts. Nothing was learned and almost nothing was retained.
So, playing Chloe is a bit of a treat. She has a number of goals, some of which seem antithetical to the rest (which doesn't stop her from trying to do it all). She is not a nominal Christian. She has her own Bible, reads it in the Summerlands, goes to Church every Sunday, and to a Bible Study group afterwards. She is not quite Catholic, because she is a little more flexible in her interpretation of the doctrine, but she is definitely a believer.
But I know nothing of the Bible. I have about two phrases I could quote, and they are both probably from Genesis.
That's where my Treo comes in.
Olive Tree offers Bibles for the PDA, most of them are free (there are also study aids, which aren't). I can search, bookmark, read, and write notes about the various texts. I can make Chloe play like what she really is, spiritual, slightly confused, athletic woman. I can actually have her quote if I need to. I can even see if she can expand herself in this land where change is probably easier to achieve than in the mundane world.
I am well pleased with myself. ^_^;
