Anyhow, while odds are - perhaps - slightly against your entire life going absolutely perfectly from this moment onwards, it's entirely possible for a relationship to go for a long time without any major hiccups. keshwyn and I went for...I don't know how long, but at least a year or two before our first argument, and it wasn't even a big one or anything.
Not that we didn't have issues (many of them logistics - how do we get to see each other?) or disagreements (which were generally worked out eminently amicably), but it's amazing what open + honest communication can do for people who care deeply for each other...
