For those who like to craft:
Don't forget! Charity Knitting on the Common - This Sunday, May 23, 2004 at 1pm at the Frog Pond. I'll be there at 1pm knitting away so just look for me and my pup Ziggy and set up your chair or spread your blanket or just sprawl in the grass. Take a load off and relax for a few hours.
Come when you want. Stay as long as you wish. Bring a picnic. Bring your kids (there's a Frog Pong PlayGround next to the Frog Pond). Enjoy the afternoon.
Don't know how to knit? Come anyway and we'll teach you.
Don't have yarn for charity knitting? We do! Let me know and I'll bring it. Just bring one pair of US size 8 knitting needles and we'll get you started.
Want to do a different craft - crochet, needlework, cross-stitch, etc. or work on personal knitting? Bring it and come!
Don't have sign up. Just show up!
