And not quite up to snuff.

I've spent the past few days being wobbly and disoriented, but going to work and doing almost all of my normal things anyway (no running, slightly less food). Mostly this takes place when I stand up and try to walk. I feel a bit dizzy and likely to either fall or crash into things. I had this issue a while ago, and was hoping it wouldn't come back. Yesterday, I felt like it was because I didn't eat much on Tuesday. As it is still happening today (albeit less), that's probably not why. Go fig.

So, I'm not going to run game on Friday. I'm going to figure out what I need to do for Saturday, work on homework and generally try and feel better, because work is this huge unending thing this week that is keeping me constantly busy (aka, no, I'm not going home).

Right now, my stomach is just saying that it has had a bit too much tannic (and other) acids and is grumbly. Hopefully everything will be better after my lunch meeting...

I got home yesterday a bit before 4, took two green pills, leafed through a catalog and brought a book to bed.

I closed my eyes and felt the groggy feeling coming over me in waves, a strangely comforting feeling now that I wasn't trying to interact with the world.

At 6:30 I got out of bed and was up for about 3 hours before going back to bed. I woke up at 3something and then slept on and off till nearly 4:30 when I got out of bed and read my book instead of knitting for a couple of hours.

I don't feel groggy today, and I haven't take any cold meds (though I have some emergency Sudafed in my desk), but I feel OK. I'll probably go to bed early tonight as well after getting some time in on my current knitting projects or maybe something truly crazy like cross-stitch.

(PS: I love overtime.)

The boss is out sick today. I wonder if her throat was too sore to do more than croak out parts of words. I'm getting there myself, but don't want to take sick time in the first quarter if I can manage it. Not that I have a real reason to not want to use sick time right now. It just seems that I took a lot of sick time last year (7 out of 10 days).

Of course, I think this means that there have been at least two days when I have come in already when I really should have been home (today is not one of them). Cold sweats and alternating between shivering and being way too warm with oozy nausea is definitely 'go home' feeling.

Stupid body, stupid me.
