qaryllaI just finished the "major update of my portfolio site," otherwise known as the "tool that will help me get freelancy jobs.
I still need to rewrite the opening page, and the rest of it is hopelessly pretentious, but will get to be less so as I have higher quality content. It's always a little bit difficult to sound serious and worthy when you have no valid clips from before 1994.
But the site is up, there are no broken links, there are valid clips in the portfolio (and the ones from when I was 16/17 that I dregged out of the gutter, and boy did my writing suck then) for corporate marketing writing. Now just to get a paying article or two for nonfiction, and I will be all set.
