The boss is out sick today. I wonder if her throat was too sore to do more than croak out parts of words. I'm getting there myself, but don't want to take sick time in the first quarter if I can manage it. Not that I have a real reason to not want to use sick time right now. It just seems that I took a lot of sick time last year (7 out of 10 days).

Of course, I think this means that there have been at least two days when I have come in already when I really should have been home (today is not one of them). Cold sweats and alternating between shivering and being way too warm with oozy nausea is definitely 'go home' feeling.

Stupid body, stupid me.

If you are sick, you should go home! Using only 7 days last year is much better than me. I usually use all 10 of mine. And they are there in case you are sick. And if you aren't careful, you won't be healthy to work next week...
